Full-Time and Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist

Technology and Language Center, Inc. has full-time and part-time center based positions available. Competitive pay, benefits available for .5 FTE and greater. Hours are flexible but the greatest need is for after-school and/or Saturday availability. The successful candidate will participate in interdisciplinary management of clients 0 - 21 years of age who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Responsibilities: Applicants must be prepared to work with children with severe speech and language impairments resulting from autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include treatment planning, vocabulary updating, device programming/overlay creation, therapeutic intervention, providing parent feedback and home implementation plans, and providing written documentation as needed.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in SLP required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech-language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and IL licensure as a Speech Pathologist preferred, however strong CF’s will be considered. AAC and assistive technology background required.
